Strong nonprofits have leaders who share an understanding of their organization’s strengths and challenges, and who agree on how to move forward. WNC Nonprofit Pathways offers a two-step process to support that kind of alignment:

Step 1: ASSESS: Take advantage of a discounted rate to use TCC Group’s online Core Capacity Assessment Tool (CCAT®), a nationally recognized, research-based survey that helps nonprofits assess effectiveness in four core capacity areas: Leadership, Adaptability, Management, and Technical Capacity, as well as Organizational Culture.

• Built on decades of research, the CCAT offers a clear snapshot of your organization’s current capacity.
• The tool also determines your Lifecycle Stage, a development indicator that can help prioritize your next steps to strengthen your organization.
• The assessment is completed online by 5–10 of your organization’s board and staff leaders.
• Your organization will receive a detailed report showing your placement on the nonprofit lifecycle, along with insights into your strengths and areas for growth across the Four Core Capacities and Organizational Culture.

WNC Discounted Cost: $100–$250, based on your organization’s budget size.

Eligibility: Organizations must have a budget over $100,000, at least two paid staff, an active board, and at least two years of 501(c)(3) status.

Step 2: AGREE: Once your CCAT results are in, you can apply for free Organization Coaching through Pathways. A skilled Pathways consultant will meet with your team for a 3.5-hour session at your location. Together, you’ll review your CCAT report, identify key takeaways, and reach shared agreement on top priorities to guide your organization’s next steps.
