Position Summary
We are seeking a visionary and mission-driven Executive Director to lead Haywood Pathways Center in collaboration with our Board of Directors. This role includes:
- Leading and directing overall organizational strategy and programs
- Advocating for the organization within the community
- Overseeing fundraising and financial development
- Guiding and mentoring staff in alignment with the organization’s mission and values
- Ensuring the highest level of ethical leadership and professionalism
The Executive Director is both the public face and operational leader of the organization—committed to serving others with integrity and compassion.
About Haywood Pathways Center
Haywood Pathways Center is a faith-based nonprofit organization serving Haywood County, NC. Our mission is to provide emergency shelter and short-term housing for men, women, and families experiencing homelessness, while supporting them with personalized, goal-oriented case management focused on long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
Each night, we serve up to 96 residents and provide three meals a day—plus snacks—to all. We also operate the Holy Cow Food Truck, which serves free meals at 10–12 locations monthly across the community. With over 830 active volunteers and strong partnerships with faith-based and community organizations, our impact is built on collective service and support.
