Position Summary
The Development Coordinator plays a key role in advancing CareReach’s mission by supporting and implementing fundraising strategies, writing compelling grant proposals, expanding the donor base, and managing marketing and communications efforts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with strong writing skills and a passion for nonprofit development.
Key Responsibilities
- Grant Development: Research prospects; draft, edit, and submit LOIs, proposals, and reports; manage deadlines and deliverables.
- Donor Relations: Maintain donor database/CRM; support cultivation and stewardship communications; prepare acknowledgments and impact updates.
- Fundraising Support: Assist with annual fund, campaigns, sponsorships, and events; track progress to revenue goals and KPIs.
- Marketing & Communications: Draft newsletters, appeals, web content, and social posts; maintain brand consistency and messaging calendar.
- Data & Reporting: Pull lists, analyze performance metrics, and produce board/staff development reports.
- Project Coordination: Manage timelines, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in development, grant writing, communications, or related nonprofit role.
- Strong persuasive writing, editing, and research skills; portfolio or writing samples preferred.
- Familiarity with donor CRMs (e.g., Bloomerang, Salesforce, Kindful) and email marketing tools.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; basic design/website skills a plus (e.g., Canva, WordPress).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.

Work Environment
- Part-time (20 hours/week); schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends during campaigns or events.
