Position Overview
Black Mountain Counseling Center is a mission-driven nonprofit providing accessible, compassionate mental health care in our community. We are seeking a warm, organized, and creative professional to support our development and communications efforts during an exciting period of growth. This part-time role focuses on donor engagement, storytelling, and community outreach. The coordinator will help maintain donor records, support fundraising and grant efforts, create compelling communications (newsletters, email, social media), and assist with outreach and events. This position will also play a key role in preparing for our upcoming capital campaign. Ideal candidates are strong communicators who are detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable managing projects independently. Experience in nonprofit work, communications, or fundraising is preferred. This is a flexible, hands-on opportunity to contribute to a growing organization and make a meaningful impact in mental health care.
Hourly wage: $25/hour (20–25 hours/week)
