I deeply appreciate the vital work that nonprofit organizations provide in our communities. Throughout my career, my contributions to volunteer service include work with women’s shelters, heritage camps for adoptive families, Girl Scouts, and local, regional, and national HR professional organizations. Since moving to Asheville in 2013, I’ve served on the boards of Building Bridges of Asheville, Leadership Asheville, Hanger Hall School, WNC Diversity Engagement Coalition, and Celebration Singers of Asheville. In addition to my volunteer work, I served as Interim Chief Human Resources Officer at Dogwood Health Trust in 2020-21.
