Position Overview
Equal Plates Project is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join the kitchen team as a dishwasher & to support meal distribution. This is a critical dual role that keeps the kitchen running smoothly and ensures their clients receive their meals on time. Responsibilities ● Cleaning & Sanitation: Wash dishes, utensils, cookware to health standards. ● Kitchen Maintenance: Clean floors, surfaces, and manage trash/recycling. ● Equipment Support: Assist with equipment cleaning, breakdown, and reassembly. ● Inventory Flow: Keep dishware, pans, and tools stocked during production. ● Food Safety: Maintain sanitation systems (chemicals, logs). ● Collaboration: Work with volunteers to delegate dish/cleaning tasks. ● Flex Support: Help with basic prep (washing produce, portioning, labeling) when dish load allows. ● Meal Distribution: Load and transport prepared meals to various locations throughout the week (approximately 3–4 hours of driving per week)

Compensation: Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM beginning June 29, 2026 Compensation: $18-20/hr based on experience
