Western North Carolina’s nonprofits have carried their communities through recovery after Hurricane Helene, while adapting to significant federal funding shifts. Their strength and dedication continue to anchor communities across the region in times of uncertainty.

At this year’s Nonprofit Leadership Forum, researchers from Openfields will share key findings from the Rising Above report — a regional survey conducted after Hurricane Helen to understand how WNC nonprofits are recovering, adapting, and identifying their most pressing needs. Together, we’ll explore what these results reveal about the sector today and how we can move forward.

Who Should Attend: Executive directors and board chairs are especially encouraged to attend, but all nonprofit leaders are welcome. Bring a team of staff and board members for the richest learning and impact.
