Position Overview
Donor Relations Manager – North Carolina Outward Bound School is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven professional to serve as the operational backbone of its Advancement Team. This role manages and optimizes fundraising systems, including Salesforce and other donor platforms, oversees gift processing and financial reconciliation, produces reports and data analysis to support strategic decision-making, and coordinates donor communications, annual appeals, and cross-departmental projects. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or development operations, strong database, reporting, and Excel skills, knowledge of fundraising and financial processes, and exceptional organizational and communication abilities. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to support a life-changing mission through data-informed fundraising, donor stewardship, and operational excellence.
Compensation: Salary range – $55,000 – $62,000/year.
