Position Overview
The Asheville Symphony is seeking friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Event Staff to join our Front-of-House team for the 2026–27 season. Event Staff serve as front-of-house support personnel during Asheville Symphony performances, helping create a safe, welcoming, organized, and enjoyable experience for every patron.
Event Staff assist with a variety of concert-day operations, including venue setup and teardown, parking, ticket scanning, door monitoring, patron wayfinding, and general guest assistance. Working under the supervision of House Managers and the Patron Relations Department, Event Staff play an important role in ensuring smooth concert operations and an exceptional patron experience.
Compensation& Benefits: This position is part-time. Concerts occur approximately 1-2 times per month. Shifts are typically 3-5 hours, and you can work a double shift if desired.
