Home Remedies Program Coordinator, PATH

The Home Remedies Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of programming and education for a wide variety of audiences in Yancey and Mitchell counties. The program of focus is designed for anyone seeking alternatives to prescription medication, anyone with limited access to complementary health modalities, and anyone who has an interest in addressing their pain, stress, wellness, and/or resilience. The Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director, Substance Misuse Program Manager, Home Remedies Advisory Committee, and community partners to develop and coordinate initiatives. The individual is responsible for all coordination, planning, and logistical issues related to Home Remedies, as well as other duties as assigned. This position also supports administrative aspects of the Mitchell Yancey Substance Abuse Task Force – a coalition of local stakeholders focused on addressing issues related to substance use in Mitchell and Yancey counties via awareness, education, advocacy, and prevention.
