SUMMARY:Nonprofit Fundamentals: Grant Writing 101 - Fundamentals of Effective Grant Proposals - Sept. 9 & 10
DESCRIPTION:This is a two-part workshop held online via Zoom\, three hours each day (total of 6 hours) to complete class\, September 9 & 10; 9:30am – 12:30 pm.  Click here to register. \nWestern North Carolina nonprofits are carrying a heavy load right now. Hurricane Helene’s recovery is still ongoing\, federal funding continues to shrink\, and DEI-focused grants are harder to come by. Your community needs your organization to be resourced\, resilient\, and ready. This important work starts with knowing how to make the ask. \nGrant Writing 101 gives you a solid foundation to write proposals that get a funder’s attention. Whether you’re starting from scratch or ready to sharpen your skills\, you’ll walk away knowing how to find aligned funders\, build a compelling narrative\, create a project budget\, and demonstrate measurable impact. We’ll also dig into how AI fits into the proposal process\, and how to use it without losing your voice. \nBy the end\, you’ll have the skills to write proposals that communicate your project’s value and move funders to say yes. This class is taught by Simone Adams. \nCost per online class is $60 for both days. Classes are designed to be affordable and are free for organizations with a budget under $50K\, contact us for details. Pathways is committed to making these courses accessible to all nonprofit leaders in WNC. If you would like to attend\, but the cost is a barrier\, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at contact@nonprofitpathways.org.  Attendance is mandatory for both days to attend. *we limit a maximum of 3 registrants per organization for each class. \nPlease let us know if you are in need of special accommodations for any of our classes by emailing us at contact@nonprofitpathways.org. \nThe Nonprofit Fundamentals Certificate Program courses are offered to nonprofit organizations based in the 18 counties of western North Carolina. Please do not register for classes if you do not meet this criteria. Thank you. \n
