The Director of Marketing & Public Relations (PR) is responsible for planning, supervising, administering, and evaluating programs that meet or exceed attendance and ticket revenue goals for ASO events and maximize the visibility of the Symphony. The role works closely with Asheville Symphony’s Executive Director, Development department, and Patron Services department to engage its patron base through diverse channels of advertising and public relations. The Director will also be responsible for guiding the activities of ASO’s Graphic Designer to accomplish mutual goals.
The role responsibilities are broken down into four key areas, which are to be managed simultaneously: Marketing & Advertising, Public Relations, Website Management, and General Administration.
