The Food Sourcing Manager is primarily responsible for all purchasing activities for MANNA FoodBank. They will also manage all aspects of the purchasing, planning, execution, monitoring and control of the purchases required to support the food services domain for HOP in WNC. The Healthy Opportunities Pilot (HOP) is an innovative, new approach to addressing the upstream social determinants of health and reducing the need for clinical interventions by using Medicaid dollars to pay for services related to transportation, food, housing, and interpersonal safety. The Food Sourcing Manager will provide forecasting, budgeting, vendor analysis, and procurement for products needed to support MANNA’s 16-county service area as well as fulfill the service requirements for the food domain for HOP. This collaborative work will take place in partnership with Impact Health, the HOP Network Lead in WNC. This position will also be responsible for all food drives activities for the food bank.
