The Director of Women’s Empowerment is a member of the senior leadership team of the YWCA. The Director is responsible for the MotherLove and Getting Ahead programs and holds primary responsibility to ensure budget guidelines and granting requirements are met for each program. In addition to program staff supervision, The Director carries a small caseload of pregnant and parenting teens in the MotherLove program and supervises the management of approximately 45 women in the Getting Ahead program. The Director serves the caseload through group work and general support. This position requires regular evening availability until 9 p.m. plus some additional evening and weekend work. A non-traditional work schedule is available to meet the needs of these programs. The position is full-time, benefits eligible, exempt and supervises two full-time staff persons and up to two college interns.
