The Director of Prevention Programs will provide leadership and expertise in the area of primary prevention of sexual violence for Buncombe County. This position requires someone with great vision, solid communication skills, and experience with primary prevention, strategic planning, and education. The Director supervises the Prevention, Education, & Outreach (PEO) team at Our VOICE that provides programs for schools and community groups throughout the County. The position will play a key role on the S.A.F.E.R. steering committee tasked with implementing Buncombe County Pathway to Prevention – a comprehensive multi-year plan to prevent sexual violence, domestic violence, and child abuse.
