The Development Manager is responsible for establishing, developing, supervising, and maintaining a fundraising program to support and enhance the mission of the Asheville Area Arts Council (AAAC) to include the following areas: the major gifts program, annual fund, planned giving, corporate and foundation fundraising, and special events. This position works closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and staff in all development and fundraising endeavors. The Development Manager is the primary fundraiser for the AAAC. This is a full-time exempt position with occasional events/weekends for events.
