Michael Caudill is managing partner of InterCultural Advantage (ICA), a consulting practice that helps clients better manage the challenges and opportunities of the multicultural workplace. ICA provides effective and insightful services in the areas of cultural competence and multicultural teambuilding. InterCultural Advantage was the first consulting practice in North Carolina to be recognized by Georgetown University’s National Center for Cultural Competence.
ICA also offers training and consulting services in crisis communications, including the preparation of organizational crisis communication plans. Michael has held positions in public affairs and disaster relief with national and international relief organizations such as the American Red Cross and Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization.
Michael has a Master’s degree in Intercultural Communication from the American University’s School of International Service. His work and studies have taken him to 44 countries across Europe, the Balkans, the Near East, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. He is an instructor in crisis communications and intercultural communication at Western Carolina University.
