Summary of your consulting practice and relevant experience:

I have worked in a variety of nonprofit sectors including human services, environment, arts/humanities, health, foundation and higher education providing innovative and proven methodologies that enhance nonprofit performance and sustainability. Projects I have performed include fundraising audits and strategy, board training/development, strategic planning, major gift campaigns, stakeholder studies, and professional search/placement.

I am also the founder of the Foothills Nonprofit Collaborative, a professional development group that meets monthly to discuss nonprofit and fundraising topics ranging from making the ask to planned giving strategies. Nonprofit CEO’s, development officers, and board members are invited to participate and there is no cost to attend.

I have served as faculty for AFP’s Fundamentals of Fundraising course at UNC Charlotte, leading various modules of the training course.  I also present on a variety of topics including donor retention, board engagement and effectiveness, fundraising certification and more.

Adult Life Programs was in need of a communications outreach plan to help them with a specific campaign. The agency requires vans for its programs to transport children to and from its sessions. A deadline was fast approaching where they needed to raise dollars in order to purchase two vans. I created media messaging, a press release, created a media contact list and did outreach to media outlets to request their support in getting the word out to multiple counties and communities.
