The Benefits and Support Services Coordinator will provide information about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and other federal nutrition programs, to potentially eligible individuals and families in MANNA’s 16 county service area, and then provide them with pre-screening and application assistance. The Coordinator will oversee recruitment, training, and coordination of volunteers at MANNA and participating community agencies, to participate in outreach activities that increase awareness of and access to federal benefits programs. The Coordinator will oversee all operations of MANNA’s Food Helpline and multi-channel call center, including incoming and outgoing calls, emails, texts, faxes, etc. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate program data, providing reports on data collected, communicating with local Departments of Social Services and MANNA partner organizations, and staying abreast of current SNAP regulations and information.
